COMMUNITY EVENTS

  • Rudyard Lions are cooperating fully with the Stay Home - Stay Safe rules.  Meetings and events are conducted only as allowed by State guidelines.  We urge all members of our community to do likewise.
  • Rudyard Lions Weekly Drawing tickets:  Tickets for 2021 are available now from Lions members.   First drawing $100, second drawing , $25, from January through December 2021. There will be 52 weekly drawings plus two $250 bonus drawings, one during Summerfest and one at Christmas.   Each drawing will be on Friday at 9 am. Drawing location: Spencer Insurance Agency, 11259 West Main St., Rudyard, MI 49780. Even if you win, your ticket stays in for the rest of the drawings! Donation: $55.00.  State Lic. #X03677. Proceeds to go towards Lions sponsored community projects.  
  • January - March Cross Country Skiing at the Rudyard School Farm ski trails. (located 4 miles north of Rudyard on Tilson Rd. and 1 mile west on Thompson Rd.) Trails of varying length are maintained and groomed by the Rudyard Lions Club as long as snow conditions allow.
  • Rudyard Lions Annual Pancake Supper--We had to cancel in 2020, but we'll be back better than ever in 2021--we've set a tentative date of April 21, 2021.  Join us for a great feed.
  • Fourth Annual Golf Ball Drop, Next year's raffle scheduled for July 24, 2021, at the Rudyard Township Park, with proceeds to community projects.  Tickets will be available from Lions Club Members.  Michigan raffle license to be applied for in 2021
  • 24th Annual Rudyard Lions Triathlon and 5K Race:  The event is postponed for 2020, but we're planning for the 2021 event, Sunday, July 25, 2021, 9:30 am.  Visit our web site  for the latest word.
  • Holiday wreath sales--November 2020--with delivery about December 4, 2020.
  • Texas Hold 'Em:  Texas Hold 'Em fixed limit play events are held at  Huck's Pub and Grill, Main St., Rudyard, Michigan, from 6:30 pm to 12:30 am, The next event will be held in the spring of 2021, COVID-19 permitting.  Benefits Rudyard Lions Club and Rudyard High School Baseball and Softball.  
  • "Community tree lighting and Santa's visit to the Rudyard Township Hall are scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.  Santa will make an appearance, but because of COVID-19 precautions, he cannot do individual visits with children this year.  Written wish lists will be accepted.  All area children and families are welcome to join the fun.
